Who is James Billings McManigle??

Just received this email from Cousin Wendy, Subject James Billings McManigle Mystery:
Kristine,
I jus
t ran across this one on the Find A Grave website (findagrave.com)
Click on the "Search 58 million grave records
Then, in Memorial #  enter  64556654 and hit "search"
See if you can figure out where he should be linked. I tend to think he would be in the line of David Loman Mcmanigle and Jane Wells. What do you think??
Wendy

Dirty Jim was an old ranch hand who resided in a cabin at the Kyler Ranch near Boulder, Montana. When I was a young child, we'd go visit him. He didn't have much, but he sure was nice. He loved children.

I actually have James Blancher McManigle married to Mary Frances Schremb in 1933 in Lemmon, Perkins County, South Dakota.  So is this James Billings McManigle or James Blancher McManigle?  But according to FindAGrave, in 1926 he married Helen Johnson Helena, Montana.
I also checked GenealogyBank, Archives, Footnote, I found nothing. Ancestry(information above).  I still have not located him in the 1930 US Census Records.
At Family Search, I found James and Mary F. (Schremp) McManigle in the 1935 South Dakota State Census:

name:James Mcmanigle
age:29
estimated birth year:1906
gender:Male
race (original):White
birthplace:Stowers North Dakota
race (standardized):White
marital status:Married
year married:1933
spouse or maiden name:Mary F Schremp
residence:Lemmon ward 2, Perkins, South Dakota
post office:Lemmon, South Dakota

father's birthplace:Charles City Iowa
mother's birthplace:Charles City Iowa
film number:2370051
digital folder number:4447511
image number:2978
sheet number:1105

According to the above, James' father was born in Charles City, Iowa, actually Niles Township, Floyd County, Iowa (very close).  James' mother was born in Charles City, actually born in Illinois.  Per my records the parents of James Blancher McManigle were, Timothy Billings McManigle and Margaret Oldham.

As James' father was Timothy Billings McManigle, I wonder if,  James Blancher McManigle was known as James Billings McManigle in Montana? or are they two different men?

I will need to keep looking into this one.  Of course I have sent an email to Cousin Shel and look forward to hearing his ideas on this one.  Shel is really the family expert on this Branch of the McManigles.  I will also need to pursue this 'mystery' further.
